Often referred to as the “Ultrasound Facelift” or the “90-Day Facelift”, HIFU has become one of the most sought after treatments for improving skin laxity and restoring definition to the face, neck and décolletage. The treatment works by delivering focused ultrasound energy deep beneath the skin’s surface, stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin — the essential proteins responsible for maintaining firm, smooth and youthful skin.

As we age, collagen production gradually declines, which can lead to wrinkles, sagging skin and loss of facial definition, particularly around the jawline and neck. HIFU Ultra MED® helps to stimulate the body’s natural regenerative processes, encouraging the skin to rebuild its internal support structure and gradually improve firmness, tone and elasticity.

What makes HIFU Ultra MED® superior to many other HIFU devices is its ability to deliver precise, high-energy ultrasound at multiple depths within the skin, allowing for more effective collagen stimulation and more consistent results.

The technology can target four different depths of the skin structure — 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm within the dermis, as well as the SMAS layer at 4.5mm. The SMAS layer is the same structural layer tightened during surgical facelifts. By stimulating this deeper layer without damaging the surface of the skin, HIFU Ultra MED® can achieve powerful lifting and tightening results without the need for surgery.

Unlike many lower-powered devices, HIFU Ultra MED® delivers faster shot speeds and higher energy precision, allowing treatments to be performed more efficiently while improving comfort and accuracy. This advanced technology enables targeted treatment across multiple layers of the skin, producing natural-looking, progressive improvements over time.

Results can last up to two years, and in some cases even longer, depending on the individual, lifestyle and their skin condition.

For most clients, one treatment is often sufficient, however this can depend on the level of skin laxity. If additional lifting is required, a booster treatment may be recommended. At Skin Deep Aesthetics, results are reviewed at 12 weeks, and should a booster treatment be beneficial, I offer 30% off the booster treatment to help make achieving your desired results more affordable — a policy not commonly offered by other clinics.
